Synopsis:

Kitajima Maya, with a mother who works as a live-in waitress at a Chinese restaurant and a dead father, was always thought of as one who felt short.
For a 13-year old girl, she had shouldered quite a difficult life, always being thought as someone with no good traits to her.
That is, until her fateful meeting with former star actress Tsukikage Chigusa - the legendary actress who played the "Crimson Goddess".

Unfortunately an awful accident happened to Chigusa and destroyed her acting career, leaving her simply as a teacher.
However, now she is looking for a successor to play in her place, and bring back the Crimson Goddess once again.
Will Maya be able to step up and one day be able to take on the Crimson Goddess under Tsukikage-sensei's teachings?

Whilst climbing flaming ladders, and fighting against a genius rival, this is the story of the acting battle between Kitajima Maya and Himekawa Ayumi for the role of the Crimson Goddess.
